Lucifer: The first
promotional video by Atsushi Sakurai, BUCK-TICK's vocalist, solo project,
released in 2001. The song is good, alternative rock with new wave
and dark influences, and also the video.
Atsushi wanders in a city in dark clothes, while a black hole opens in the
sky. As you can see, I used Atsushi's photos
also for the site layout. Probably because he is the amazing vocalist for the best Japanese rock band ever.

Lucifer: Here to
you the high quality version taken from the bonus DVD coming with the album
"Dance with grace". The video is a bit laughable for its low-budget footage, but
beautiful nonethless, filmed in a fake-baroque house (said to be Hizaki's house
:D but I doubt it). Everyone looks a bit dorky in this video (especially Teru
and Yuu, while Juka is somewhat ugly òO) but the song is truly marvelous.

Lucifer: The
promotional video for the BEST MALICE MIZER song ever. Unfortunately, they cut
the song to produce a short video (lenght: 2:32). Only this short version exist,
still, this video is gorgeous: Malice Mizer with their amazing gothic outfits
wanders in a chatedral-like hall, crimson petals of roses falling from above.
Diverse gothic imagery: the cemetery, the storm, Mana dancing, Kozi crucified
and Yuki arising from the coffin. The three mourns a white dead figure in a bed,
later covered by red petal. I wish they filmed a longer version with the entire
song.

Lucifer: Recently,
D are the band with the most elegant
and 'gothic' image in Visual Kei (and in general Jrock), and they kick all other
bands who making cheesy videos. Plus, their music is awesome metal/hard rock with
the best indie Japanese rock vocalist (Asagi), absolutely amazing. This video is a
Vampire-themed, Transylvanian-styled dream (Asagi speaks some words in Romanian
at the end of the song!) Roses, coffins, baroque halls, and
Asagi as a dark gorgeous vampire. A must have!
